SiBa Systems is an online, remote backup system. It allows you to backup and restore your servers remotely and save the backups to your computer, your web server, or our servers for safekeeping. The backups will then come into use should you ever lose any data on your server. Simply use our restore functions to restore your site using your backup files.

Data loss can happen because of many reasons, be it the hard drive on the server, server crashes, virus infections, or program crashes. Nonetheless, we feel it is better to have backup files and not need them, than to not have the backup files and need them!

SiBa is a full-resource, diverse backup system for IP-based servers that support FTP connections. If you want to make sure you never lose any data or files on your server, then you would want this service. To be honest, if you are doing some simple, personal website that only has a few pages to it, and no databases then chances are you wouldn't need this and if you did, the basic, free account would be more than sufficient. However, if you have a server that has a lot of data that you absolutely can not afford to lose that data (i.e., customer tracking, orders, technical support tickets, etc.), then this is the answer for you.

This service does not prevent your server from going down. We have no control whether your host crashes, needs to restart, go down for maintenance, or otherwise become temporarily unavailable. However, we do make sure that, should that happen, you do not lose any of your data on your website when the host is back up.

Registration is completely free of charge and it gives you a basic account for simple backup functions. From your account control panel, you can then upgrade and obtain the features that fit your specific needs, that way you are only paying for what you need and not for some package that makes you pay for features that you might not use.
